Über die Qualität der Firma KWA muss nicht mehr viel geschrieben werden, wer schon mal eine Kurz- oder Langwaffe des Herstelles sein Eigen nannte oder nennt, weiß um deren Vorzüge. Dieser hohe Standard wird natürlich bei der aktuellen B&T MP9 beibehalten. Da es sich hierbei um ein Lizenzprodukt handelt wurde ein besonderer Augenmerk auf Qualität und Funktionalität seitens B&T gelegt.Obwohl das Systemgehäuse der MP9 haupsächlich mit Nylon verstärktem Kunstoff hergestellt wurde, ist das Gewicht von nahezu 1700gr eine Ansage. Das Material fühlt sich sehr wertig an, nichts gibt nach oder knartzt. Die Markings sind auf beiden Seiten sauber aufgebracht, wirken aber nicht zu aufdringlich. Die Top Rail ist wie beim Realen Vorbild aus Kunsstoff, die seitliche und untere Rail ist dagegen aus massivem Metall gefertigt. Der Verschluss, Flash Hider und nahezu alle beweglichen Teile sind ebenfalls aus Metall, einige davon sogar aus Stahl gefertigt. Der filigrane aber äuserst stabile Klappschaft dient in geschlossener Position als Frontgriff. Unseren Tests und den damit verbundenen Erfahrungen nach, hat die MP9 den härtseten und knackigsten Rückschlag aller bis dato getesteten MP´s im Airsoftbereich. Das Magazin, welches komplett aus Metall gefertigt ist, fasst 48 Schuss und trägt zusätzlich, zum bereits erwähnten, enormen Gewicht bei. Die Firma KWA hat endlich wider ein Modell auf den Markt gebracht, welches nicht schon x-mal von anderen Herstellern auf den Markt geworfen wurde. Vielleicht macht es gerade der Umstand, dass das Reale Vorbild meistens von ausgewählten Kräften, wie der Belgischen Polizei oder Portugiesischen Spezaileinheiten benutzt wird, grade so interessant.

Der globale Krieg gegen den Terror hatte zu einer Weiterentwicklung der Waffen geführt. Eine dieser Weiterentwicklungen ist die bekannte SR-25, die sich von einer hochspezialisierten zu einer vielseitigeren Waffe wandelt. Die SR-25 ECC (Enhanced Combat Carbine) ist das Ergebnis jahrelanger Kampferfahrung und Fertigungsverbesserungen auf der legendären AR-10-Plattform. Bei Einsätzen im Irak und in Afghanistan stellten viele Soldaten fest, dass herkömmliche Repetier-Scharfschützengewehre oder lange Halbautomatikgewehre mit festem Schaft für Patrouillen oder den Einsatz in komplexen Umgebungen nicht ideal waren. Viele dieser langen und relativ schwerfälligen Gewehre machten den Kampf schwierig und schwierig, von der Raumfreiheit bis hin zum Durchqueren gefährlichen Geländes. Vor diesem Hintergrund wurde der SR-25 ECC geboren. Es baute auf den Langstreckenfähigkeiten des traditionellen SR-25 auf, kombinierte es jedoch mit einem flexiblen Schaft und einem 16-Zoll-Lauf. Die kompaktere Größe des Gewehrs bedeutete, dass es unter widrigen Bedingungen und in widrigen Umgebungen leichter zu tragen und zu kämpfen war, und sein ausreichend langer Lauf machte es immer noch zu einem äußerst leistungsfähigen Waffensystem für große Entfernungen. Das SR-25 ECC verfügt außerdem über ein Patronenlager im Kaliber .308 oder 7,62 x 51, was für ein Dienstgewehr dieses Kalibers ausreichend Durchschlagskraft und Genauigkeit bietet. Dieses GBBR VFC ist eine originalgetreue Nachbildung dieses Gewehrs und weist alle korrekten Markierungen auf. Als Waffe mit viel Gewicht hat VFC mehrere Schritte unternommen, um sicherzustellen, dass diese Waffe auch so leicht wie möglich ist, beispielsweise durch den leichten Außenlauf. Die Waffe verfügt außerdem über das zeitlose URX 3.1-Schienensystem. Das VFC SR-25 ECC wurde unter Genehmigung der Knight's Armament Company gebaut und verfügt außerdem über eine vollständige Nachbildung des SR-25 ECC-Modells. Realistische Konfiguration am Body mit beidhändigen Funktionen, zusammengebaut mit leichtem Modellierlauf und KAC SR-25 URX 3.1 13,5-Zoll-Handschutz mit um 45 Grad versetztem, klappbarem Mikrovisier-Kit, flexiblem Schaft und vollständig autorisierten Markierungen mit allen realistisch aussehenden Strukturdetails. Intern führte der Wunsch nach Gewichtsreduzierung nicht dazu, dass VFC die Qualität herabsetzte.
